Prospective Students

During fall 2015, the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies is accepting enquiries for matriculation in fall 2016. Note that this fall our lab group is accepting applicants for the doctoral program AND the MESc program.

UPDATE: POTENTIAL DOCTORAL APPLICANTS: We have had a lot of interest in the Ph.D. program and are now supporting a small handful of applicants, so do not have the capacity to accept new enquiries for this program.

If you are interested in working with us through the MESc program please contact Mark directly at mark.bradford@yale.edu. Please note applications close Jan 2nd 2016 and so we cannot entertain new enquiries after mid December.

More generally, if you’re interested in doing graduate research at the School, with our group or another group, during early fall you should usually:

  • Arrange a meeting/conversation with the prospective advisor to discuss your interests.
  • Come visit FES, Yale, and New Haven to see if it’s a good fit.
  • Apply to the Master’s program (M.E.Sc.) or Doctoral program (note: deadlines are usually early January).
